The morning of 70's has come with bright light in the sky.
Autombiles increased prosperity,and prosperity increased automibiles.

It started with Capella's cruise as if it were flying into a blue sky.

*As symbolizing the prosperity of Japan,or celebrating the start of bright 70's,
an "Exposition" was opened in Osaka, and 77 countries joined it and the latest technology was shown.

*In this year, many people started to own their cars and in 4 family there was one car owner. The number wasn't as much high as France or England, but the car traffic had been common in center of a big city.
Meanwhile, under those circumstance,they started pedestrians' parade in August.

At first pedestrians' parade, 230 thousand people in Ginza, 270 thousand people in Shinjuku was gathered as they felt this was some kind of festival. And it was 10 times popularity than usual Sunday's. It became boom soon, and shopping streets in all over the country started to do it too.

*Also many high speed police cruiese cars were appeared, and the siren of emergency cars had changed as French way.
In the sky, jumbo jets atarted to fly regulary.
On the land it was speed era, and in the sky it was large quantity transportation era.

*During those change, motorization was evolutioned in many people who are mainly young, and the movement of individualization and high quarity extended to excllusive cars from economic cars.
One of this example is Capella Rotary that was started to be sold in May 1970.
It insisted the escape from average family cars with 12A style 120ps rotory engine and theme color of "harsial orange ".

"Jumbo flies, Capella runs", this sales copy inform us the power of automobile and the poser of society that cought an updraft.
